Everything you need to know about using Pin To Be and getting the most out of your experience.
Three things, all tied to real locations: See yourself at a location — upload your photo and get a composite of you at the spot. Pose ideas — get five posing ideas for a location, solo or as a couple. Shot preview — see how a spot looks in golden hour, sunset, snow or blue hour before you go.
You upload a photo of yourself, and the AI places you into the scene of the location you've opened. You can share the result to your stories or save it. AI images are always clearly marked as AI and are never added to a pin's real photo gallery.
Free accounts get three AI generations every 24 hours across the AI features. Free results carry a small PinToBe watermark. Pro removes the watermark and lifts the limit for normal use; you can also buy a one-off pack of generations without subscribing.
A pack is a one-time purchase of a set number of AI generations — no subscription required. Generations from a pack are added to your account balance and can be used on any location.
Yes. Your generated images are kept in the My AI photos section of your profile, and you can save them to your device at any time.
You can remove your account from the account settings in your profile. Deleting your account removes your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
PinToBe works on the web, on iPhone via the App Store, and on Android via Google Play. Your account, favourites and subscription stay in sync across them.
Photos you upload to generate an AI image are used only for that generation and are not kept beyond your session. Generation works with your own photo only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. AI-generated images are clearly labelled and are never added to a pin's photo gallery. The photos you see on a location are real photos taken there, which keeps the catalogue trustworthy.
On a Pro pin you'll see the best light for that exact location: golden hour, blue hour, sunrise and sunset times, and the sun's position on a mini-map — so you know when to arrive for the shot you want.
Yes. Pro pins include a short weather outlook for the location and guidance on the best season and time of day to shoot there.
Free gives you the full map, all pins and photos, favourites, adding pins, routes and basic filters. Pro adds planning tools (golden hour and sun position, best season and time, weather, offline maps, navigation) plus AI features for yourself without a watermark. Pro Photographer includes everything in Pro plus tools for working with clients, including couple previews, client collections and shot lists.
Pro is billed monthly or annually, with the annual plan offering the best value. Pro Photographer is an annual plan aimed at working photographers. Exact prices are shown in the app at checkout in your local currency.
Manage your plan from My Subscription in your profile. Subscriptions purchased in the app are managed through your App Store or Google Play account, where you can also cancel. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
Yes. If you have a promo code you can apply it at checkout to unlock the associated discount or offer.
Open the map and explore pins around you, or filter by category — landmarks, viewpoints, classic spots and more. Each pin shows photos taken there, so you know exactly what you'll get before travelling.
Yes. Sign in, tap Add pin, drop it on the map, add photos and a short description, and choose categories. New pins are reviewed before they appear publicly to keep the map accurate and high quality.
Tap the bookmark on any pin to save it. Your favourites are available across your devices and can be viewed offline, so your shortlist is ready even without signal. Saving requires an account.
Routes are photo walks that string several spots together. Browse popular routes or follow one with turn-by-turn navigation to the next location. Viewing and following routes is free and doesn't require an account.
Yes. You can rate and review locations you've visited, and report a pin if something's wrong — for example if it's inaccurate or the spot has closed. This keeps the catalogue trustworthy for everyone.
PinToBe is a map of the world's most photogenic locations. Discover pins added by the community, see real photos taken at each spot, save your favourites, plan photo walks along routes, and check the best light before you go. It's available on the web, iOS and Android.
No. You can browse the whole map, open any pin, view photos and reviews, and follow routes without signing in. You only need an account to save favourites, add your own pins, buy a subscription, or use the AI features.
Yes. Every location and every photo in the catalogue is free to browse. A subscription unlocks planning tools and AI features — it never locks away the locations themselves.
PinToBe is worldwide and community-driven, so coverage is densest in cities where photographers are most active and grows as people add new spots. If your city is thin, you can help by adding the places you know.
